WordPress doesn't even show on website

    I use shopify for my main website http://www.bnfde.com and want to create a sub-domain as blog.bnfde.com. i have created that sub-domain and installed wordpress but it does not show on the website at all. I’ve tried to make it as the main website and also doesn’t work. I’ve tested it on my other website which both main and sub-domain is being run through wordpress and it was installed properly.

    can i make a sub-domain even if the main website is via shopify? please assist.

    Check your DNS-Settings. Your subdomains are directed to IP 62.157.140.133. But this IP isn’t alive.

    @sliim01,

    You need to log into your registrar’s website and enter a new CNAME record to point to your blog. Have you done this? If not then please do it and then post back if it still doesn’t work.

    I dont understand what I need to point too. Doesn’t blog.bnfde.com need to work first for me to point something to it?

    I’ve used DNS before but don’t 100% understand it. I’ve pointed http://www.bnfde.com to bonafidestore.myshopify.com already so what do I point blog.bnfde.com to?

    in Aachen – I just remembered I have deleted the blog.bnfde.com domain that’s why it’s probably inactive.

    I have a similar issue I’m using shopify for my online store but I purchased my domain name through WordPress, how do I get my domain “dashexchange” to point to my shopify site “dash-exchange.shopify.com” please help
