Can't Access Plugins and Themes on WordPress.org

    Hi, I am not able to access plugins and themes in wordpress database. I get this message:

    “An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with WordPress.org or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums.”

    Website: socialvani.com

    The previous database had corrupted so the site you will see is on a newly created database. WP installation is fresh. I removed Akismet plugin and went to install another when this error came up..same with themes..

    What can be done?

    It looks like a server config issue. Have you contacted your your host (Webhostbox.net) ?

    BTW, you may try a manual reinstall of WP except the wp-content folder from a fresh download of WordPress. That will replace the incomplete/ corrupt WordPress files and solve the propblem.
