• Hi there,

I’m on Page.ly. Domain DNS points to an IP address (A record) and we use the CNAME method for the network. I have about 20 sites running successfully. I recently launched a new version of a site for a customer. The site ID of the original site was “3” and the site ID of the new site is “31.” I deleted the domain mapping to site ID “3” and created a new mapping for the same domain name to “31.”

I’ve blown out my cache and deleted my local history. I cannot get the new site to come up, the old site pulls up. Interestingly, if I log in, I get the new site, but not if I’m logged out. Since it’s a self-contained ecosystem I wouldn’t think there would be any propagation issues as sometimes happens when you make DNS changes. Any ideas?

Have you talked to support at Page.ly ? They may have some server level caching running that is causing it.
