And at the current state (no info from you) I won’t add the plugin to my website because in the past I heard negative things about timthumb and security.
Or is your question “how does it work” related to you not knowing how to post on WordPress.org?

Thimbthumb security issues have been solved with the latest versions ; it’s a great script and I use it on my website to upload files within the comment system through an antique plugin named “Easy Comment Uploads”.
So actually I am looking for a plugin that could generate thumbnails into comments by sideloading distant images… and TR Thimbthumb looks like it. But I cannot figure out how to make it work.

Before, this plugin only for me to use, I uploaded to wp for easy install.
Now I added description, I will add screenshot and more description.
