I just wanted to post that after I made the upgrade to 2.3.1, I got a big DOS attack hit on my server that took my site down for nearly 12+ hours.
I'm not sure if it's any relation but I just thought I'd bring it to someone's attention.
They just started a big IP overload from the main site etc...I'm not a genius so I don't know if it is in relation to Wordpress but just wanted to mention it.

oh and i have a log file if it is needed in troubleshooting. not sure but it always helps i suppose. here are a few entries from the log file.
