Plugin changes formatting of a tab menu

I installed the plugin. It changed the display of a tabbed menu I use on the home page from red text on white tabs (to bold white text on light blue tabs). I assume there is some type of conflict with CSS. I use the Tersus theme from Themeforest.

Any help gratefully appreciated. I’ll try to debug in the next few days and post the result here.
