  • Hello!

I’m not certain if this is possible or not but I will take a look at it. The Drag & Drop area is called by running scripts and functions included in the WordPress core, such as Plupload and some custom code. If the regular uploader can handle it, mine should as well and vice versa.

Still, I’ll dig around and see what I can come up with.

    Best regards,
    Jonathan

    Ok, thank you. 🙂

I use a 2-step method to drag-n-drop from other websites using this plugin. I re-size my browser so part of my desktop is showing. I drag the image I want to my desktop and then drag it from my desktop to the featured image section of the post I want it in. Works like a charm!

@iigor: I’ve been looking into creating this feature, but I don’t think it’s possible with the current plupload. Since I wan’t to use the default WordPress uploader for compatibility. I’d recommend adding this as a suggestion to the WordPress team and maybe to Plupload as well. Once (if) the functionality exists in the media core and the uploader, it should automatically work in my plugin.

@2packrats2: Thanks for the tip, I think that’s by far the best solution for now.
