problem with widget in chrome/safari

using the widget portion of the plugin seems to disable any other links in the relevant widget region for posts only — this is not an issue in Firefox –
this plugin: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/category-feature/
has similar functionality, but without the linking issue … thought you would like to know!
