• I’ve been having a problem with div tags and span styles being added to my posts automatically. It appears that they show up when I add dashes, or bullet points and the like to my posts.

I thought it was an issue with my old theme, Atahualpa, but I have just switched to Genesis and it is happening again.

Here is a post that I just wrote that is having the problem: http://wholenewmom.com/recipes/homemade-alcohol-free-hairspray-that-works/

And here is an example of what is happening: <span style=”font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;”>- Recently, I’ve been noticing my hair getting more brittle or frizzy. I’m not sure what it is, but I dug around the internet and figured the alcohol in my spray wasn’t doing me any favors. I thought it was time to work on making my own alcohol-free hair spray.</span>

    Thank you in advance

I typically write in Visual. Occasionally Text.

I just found this, but this is a fix–not a reason why this is happening. This is part of my problem: http://wpmu.org/remove-divs-wordpress/

Also, sometimes my posts put random <div> tags at the end and throughout the post. Yesterday,I found due to this problem that my sidebars are showing up under my body on some of my posts. I only found and fixed 2, but perhaps there are more.

It it likely related to one of the many plugins/code in use to inject ads and other items into your posts…test posting without, one at a time…until issue resolves…
