Shorten display of text

    Hello guys, i have one final step before my website is perfect for me to use, but i have one stumbling block which is: =

    i cant shorten the text of my post before they click the post and then read the whole post. I was wondering if there was a way i can show a few words of my post before they click and then when they click they can see the whole article, because right now they basically can read the whole article

    lol, oh no it just cuts off when it feels like, i don’t know where the function is that controls that, if i could get any help on it i would appriciate it

    It’s related to your post excerpts. You can determine how many words or letters the post excerpt contains. I’m not 100% sure where exactly to point you. Some themes have a settings panel where you can change that but i suppose you will have to change the value by hand (in the code).
