What issues exactly do you have when updating? Are you getting any errors?

Hi Stefan,
Great plugin. I just set something up today that was so complicated in “Smooth Slider” or wp-slider I wanted to scream. But with your system it took only 10 minutes and was right the first time.
The last time I upgraded the plugin I lost settings and the settings page itself added, relocated, and subtracted features. I had to locate where the old settings needed to be re-entered. It took me awhile to get everything back the way I needed it.
Additionally I had made some changes to the light style and the control graphics and lost those in the upgrade. That is to be expected though and I fixed that with no problem.
It was the animation panel and the display panel that changed and caused the confusion. Nothing that couldn’t be straightened out and certainly nothing as serious as an error message or a failure.
It was the upgrade from 2.1.23 to 2.2.0 that had this problem.
I thank you again for writing such a useful and straight forward slideshow. And thank you for this inquiry and the chance to share my experience with you.

Hi Tony,
I’m glad to hear you were able to rebuild your slideshow’s settings the way you needed them.
The update from 2.1.23 to 2.2.0 has probably been the biggest update to the slideshow yet, as a lot of settings needed to be replaced to make the slideshow responsive. The stylesheet needed to be changed completely as well to make this happen.
I’m not expecting to make such a big change again, so you won’t have to go through these difficulties again.
