Hi Jeremy – thanks for this!
    A few questions:

I’ve installed Jetpack, Jetpack Sharing butttons shortcode, and Remove Original Jetpack sharing buttons

All are active. I had set up the original Jetpack sharing buttons but they appeared on the bottom of my post. I wanted to put them on the top of the post so I downloaded the other 2 Jetpack add ins

    1) Where do I find the short code? Is it the code that I see in the editor when I look at “jetpack-sharing-butttons-shortcode/jp-sd-shortcode.php”?

    2) I see the buttons on a single-post page (at least that’s where they showed up at the bottom when I first installed JP). If I use the shortcode, and place the buttons on the top, and if I add the shortcode to the header of a post in my WP Loop, will the URL be the high level URL of my blog? Or will it be the direct URL of the post (which is what I’m trying to do). I’d like people to be able to like or tweet the post even without clicking “read more” to get to the place where they can tweet or like it.

    thanks

    sorry – link to blog
    http://travelbrochuregraphics.com/blog

Note that no JP sharing buttons are visible after loading all 3 plugins
The buttons that are there are from Twitter and FB directly. If I can get JP running I will remove them

    thanks

More – I tried all combinations of adding the shortcode in a PHP box on my blog. Turning the two add-ons on and off. Using the shortcode in a PHP box actually cause a complete failure of any page to load after the PHP box.
I am giving up and deactivated.

    The shortcode is [jpshare]

The shortcode can only be used in a WordPress loop, and will use the permalink defined in that loop.

This “PHP box” has to be within a loop, or the shortcode won’t work, I’m afraid.

Thanx @jeremy Herve using your sortcode plugin i got solution… Thanx once again..
