• I want to change the prompt for the comment popup, which should be in the file wp-comments-popup.php from “Leave a comment” to something else. So I make the change in the file at <h2><?php_e(“Leave a comment”); ?> , but the new text doesn’t show up, the old one still does. It almost looks like the text is being cached. What should I do to fix this?

  • It probably is cached.
Open it, click in the popup, then press ctrl-f5

This is very odd. When I do that , i.e. press ctrl+f5 in the popup I see my new text flash by for a fraction of a second and then the original text comes back.
