• I am interested in the post meta array for sign up

My understanding is that there’s a checkbox to enable a multisite site have network functionality existing as a subdirectory setup.

Is this simply passed in te post meta array during wp mu blog register action?

    Admin side only?

I am interested in allowing sub networks as an optioned provisioned by a whmcs package. However not allowing it on all

    So I can have

Play group.com (main site of current multisite)

    Minnesota.playgroup.com (current subsite)

    New sign up for network:

Newbrunswick.playgroup.com (as primary site of network)
    Options for them to create
    Newbrunswick.playgroup.com/subsite/
    Etc

    Hi Norbert –

I am not sure I follow what you’re asking, but I think the checkbox you’re referring to (“enable a multisite site have network functionality existing as a subdirectory setup”) is part of the native WordPress network setup.

Once you select subdirectory vs. subdomain, all networks running on that installation have to be the same type. It sounds like your network is already configured for subdomains, so you would not be able to run subdirectory-based networks on that install.

If that doesn’t answer your question, feel free to post back!

    – David
