How About A Drop Down Menu Instead of Left Side Menu?

    Arf! Arf! Arf!

    I downloaded this plugin today, and like it bundled with the following plugin:

    Ozh’ Admin Drop Down Menu.

    I’m also going to try adding the following plugin:

    Hide Option for the Above.

    Are there enough numbers in interest for both WordPress dot com and WordPress dot org to facilitate moving the Admin UI Panel to the TOP instead of the Left Side (as part of Core)?

    This would get rid of the necessity of installing a Plugin to accomplish that goal. I would also give the user more space below the drop down menus.

    Am I way out in Upper Field on this, and would it create additional difficulty with providing good Mobile Responsive usage?
