Hi Pascal, I have used this shortcode to launch the player:
    [audio ogg="http://www.countyrooms.com/wp-content/uploads/circus.ogg" mp3="http://www.countyrooms.com/wp-content/uploads/circus.mp3" loop="on" preload="on" controls="on" flash_fallback="on"]
Please can you tell me how to re-write it?
    Thanks
    David

I read some considerations that I think could help: ios and html5 and also some experiments that resemble your plugin at uba player and also a new experiment with podcast and HTML5. Regards Gg

Hi Pascal, I’d like to thank you for all of your efforts on this. Sorry it took me a little while to reply to this thread, I have been away on holiday. Thank you also to gr1298 for posting the links above. I firstly confirmed the latest update works on iOS by running it on a fresh installation of WordPress, and with a creative commons mp3. Then I tried on my client’s site and it wasn’t working with the file they supplied. However I found out it wasn’t working with 192kbps and 96kbps files. When I uploaded a 128kbps file it worked great on iOS! I am very happy. Thank you for making this great plugin.

    Hello,

I just tried this plugin. But it is not autoplaying on my iPad.

Is there a solution for this?

    Thank you!

Confirmed, PB oEmbed works well with WordPress 3.8.1 and iOS – well my iPad 3 for certain.

You can now achieve a very similar player with WordPress core (and use the same short code) please see:

There is generally no autoplay for html media elements on iOS devices.

So in simple words, it is not possible to autoplay on a iPad? I haven a iPad 2.
