  • I’m having the same problem. Did you find anything from your end?

Nothing at all but I have seen it happening elsewhere online too.
    This article is one example
    http://blog.getpostrocket.com/2013/04/infographic-facebook-edgerank-102-understanding-how-news-feed-stories-are-filtered/

I think its a caching issue somewhere along the line. I just F5’d the above URL after viewing it earlier this week and the share count went up by over 100.

    I’m experiencing the same issue:

    – In Firefox, the counts show up when the page is reloaded
    – In IE, they work fine
    – In Chrome, the counts never update, but they’re visible when you hover over them

    Here’s my site: http://www.pamorama.net

    Has anyone found a workaround?

Same issue here as well. And whether the counts are showing correctly changes too… for example, last night my most recent post’s flare counts were all displaying correctly (viewed in Chrome). This morning, on the same post (same browser) they’re all showing as zero but displaying correctly when you hover over them.

Hoping for a fix or workaround soon!

Similar issue. Everything is fine except Pinterest (on my site and other sites using the plugin). The count shows zero but when hovered over the correct count is shown (but isn’t added to the overall share count).

Same issue here, I just installed the plugin. It looks amazing and I wish I could get it to function properly. When I hover over an icon it shows the correct number. However it still shows zero flares.

i’ve reset the caches and permissions and still nothing. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Seems the developers have a site setup with a couple plugins they are working on. You need to vote on the one they make or work on first. Flare needs your vote! Also they have a lot of other really cool concepts.

    Here’s the voting page: http://filament.io/applications/flare

Same thing here… although I think it might be
    my cashing plugin…

not really sure though, since it shows count on hover…

Pretty weird… I hope someone jumps in quick and clears the issue.

I don’t think that’s how it works, @appducate. The plugin is already made and listed in the WP repo. Having to vote to get a listed plugin to work correctly would be terrible. 🙂

In my case, I know for sure it’s not my caching plugin. I use WP Super Cache with MaxCDN. I deleted my cache over and over, both in WPSC and MaxCDN, and old posts still showed share counts of zero, even after waiting several days for the data to be pulled in. Flare is a beautiful plugin, but I have disabled it until this issue is resolved.

Nice plugin, but I am having the same issue.

I am using W3 Total Cache and ruled this out by deactivating it for a bit and still the counts would not update. Tested across Chrome, Firefox and IE with same results. If I leave the page and come back to it the counts update.

I would like to continue using, but thinking about going back to Jetpack’s sharing until this is resolved.

I has this problem also with another plugin that update 1x in the 24 hour … but when you go too settings save the plugin again, clear your cach it update the count directly … I have tested it with this plugin and it worked also 🙂

    Maybe same technick 🙂

I observed that in my site if i deactivate w3 total cache it works fine or else i have the same problem.

    Oh i have some problem..
But it works in one of social media.
