1.3a2, 8/17, archive links not working

    I’m running the 8/17 build of WP 1.3. Using my calendar, my archive links work back to 8/13. Past that, I always get “no posts matched your criteria.”
    My permalink structure is /archives/%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/%postname%/
    and I’m using the rewrite rules generated by WP. (I made sure that they weren’t copied twice, etc.) A link to
    http://www.permanentred.com/archives/2004/08/13/
    works, as well as anything later, but if I try
    http://www.permanentred.com/archives/2004/08/12/
    (as generated by the calendar), or anything earlier, I get the no posts error. (And, yes, I have posts on those days and other days that I tested.)
    The monthly archive options work.

    Upgraded to 8/24 nightly build. I’m not sure if it generated different rewrite rules, but I went ahead and deleted the old ones and inserted the new rewrite rules. I still have the same problem. It seems that recent achieve links work, while that later ones do not.
    See (though if this follows form, both will stop working as the link becomes older)

    Which works and
    http://www.permanentred.com/archives/2004/08/13/
    Which now does not, even though it used to. (I get a “no posts” error; but there are posts written on those days.)
    Permalinks to archive posts still work fine. Anyone know a way to fix this?

    It’s set to show the past 7 days of posts. Does that cause a problem?

    Changed it from showing the past x days to showing the past x posts, and, now, the archive links work. Thanks!
