Would like to use Events List in main body of page.

Have been using the widget in a column, but it is slowing the entire site down due to the number of events we track. Would like to move it to it’s own page with the same appearance as the widget provides. Just not seeing how to do it.

The events list shortcode can be included in any page/post where you want it to appear.

Making sure that the formatting is equal to the widget can be done with the html on the Formatting tab under Events > Settings.

    Hope that helps.

I don’t understand your second sentence.

    Apologies. I meant:

If you want the list to look like the one you had in the widget, got to Settings in the Events menu and then choose the Formatting tab (3rd of the 4 tabs on the top of the page).

There you click the option Events and you find different HTML codes which are used for a single event page, an events list etc. By changing that code, you can change how the list appears on your site.

Hope that’s a better explanation than my previous one.

Also, by using the shortcodes, as compared to the widget, we don’t get the link, “Go to ALL EVENTS at the bottom.

Would really like to have that in the shortcode for Events List.

    What would the code be?

You can use the shortcode [events_link] in addition to the event list shortcode for that. It should work if you write below the event list shortcode:

    Go to all [events_link].

    something like this

    [events_link]
    Go to all events
    [/events_link]
