Show Post Date?

    I’m using the latest version of WP and I did a search for this question, but only turned up answers that means changing template code, which I know the code is already there.

    I want the post date to show up in my blog posts?

    hmm… you really need to change the template code in order to make it display something else than what it’s there at present.

    I copied the code over into a new file to use a page template. In there it shows the author & date posted. It’s the same code, and it’s not hidden with CSS. So it’s gonna be the PHP if statement or a setting.

    Which file would I find this in?
