   I'm considering converting all my categories to tags with 2.3, but I'm not sure about the search engine consequences. Does anyone have any idea how using tags over categories will affect SEO? Obviously I don't want to lose traffic, but does anyone know if the SE's prefer tags over categories, or vice versa?

   Give me your thoughts, please.

   Well you may lose pages that rank in Google.

   I'm myself wondering if these could work as meta tags somehow. It would be neat because even though there is already a plugin I use for that, these can be public as well.
