Tags/Categories not updating with scheduled post

I’m not sure if this is just my install or if it may be a bug, but I use 2.3 for a photoblog and have several posts created to show-up in the future by setting the “post timestamp” in the future and then publishing.

When those post are published, the tags and categories don’t update on the front of the blog in the sidebar in the list of categories and tag cloud. If I open the post and save, then the tag and category does update. It seems these values are not being updated in the database when a post is set to publish in the future.
