Full-Width / Slider Feautered Posts issues

    Here are some of the issues that I’m seeing:

    When I change the reading settings to point to a specific page for the index page, and a specific page for the blog, the slider only shows up on the blog page. I’ve tried adjusting layouts within the individual page options but nothing changes. Shouldn’t the slider be set default to the index page?

    I can’t seem to get the blog to go the “Full Width”. I rotated through each layout option and it stayed the same size across the board (all widgets disabled). In your “Blog, Full Width” example your title, authorship, and date are to the left side, however mine are not doing the same.

    I figured out that Pinboard will automatically place the slider on whichever page you declare as your blog page in Settings > Reading. Of course many people do not want the slider on their blog page, they want it on their index/landing page. Is there a way to remove it from the blog page without manually changing CSS or code?
