I added a background to my site and changed the html so that it would not show behind my content and sidebar area. It worked and now it is white behind where it once was my background. my background is grey burlap kind.
    my url is http://www.mysnippetsofinspiration.com

    thanks for your help!

Hello? this is a time-sensitive question…does anyone have any help you can give? please?

I’m not sure what you are asking – you said you changed it and it worked…? What do you want to show on the site?

(BTW, these forums are entirely volunteer, so we don’t promise any particular level or time-frame for support…)

I changed the background to what I wanted. Then as I was editing code I must have messed up something. so that now the background doesn’t show on the sides…only on the top and bottom. I’ve gone back through and tried to figure it out but i’m stuck.

Thanks. I didn’t realize these forums were volunteer. thanks for your help!

If you remove everything you did and add background-color: #fff; to .content you will have a white background on just the middle section.

thanks. I removed what i did and it did indeed turn everything white…the sides, top &bottom and behind the content. then i uploaded my background into the platform setting>design control and the entire blog is the background color. I’d like to have the background only on the sides. is that possible?
