When I paste the generated code to my blogger template for the 301 redirect with Blogger to WordPress 2.1, (I’m pasting it directly after <b:else/>) the error message I receive is as followes:

Error parsing XML, line 9, column 21: The processing instruction target matching ‘”[xX][mM][lL]”‘ is not allowed.

After pasting, Blogger is automatically changing the code to this:

    ‘<?xml version=”1.0″ encoding=”UTF-8″ ?>’

When I remove the spacing, it changes coding on lines further down and on and on. Please help. I’ve tried the other redirect plugins and though they say they’ll go one to one, they bring all my posts back to the homepage. I DID reconfigure the permalinks when switching to WP already. My website is http://www.theheartland.us former site is http://www.heartlandthe.blogspot.com

Thank you so much, please help me. Want to make the switch final.

I write ‘when I remove the spacing’ because the original code looks like this before I paste it:

‘<?xmlversion=”1.0″encoding=”UTF-8″ ?>’ and has no white spaces between the characters but for one at the end before the ?.
