I just updated to the latest version of WooCommerce, and I’m seeing in the console on any page of the website “Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 406 (Not Acceptable)” referring to the “jquery.cookie.min.js?ver=1.3.1” file in the assets/js/jquery-cookie/ folder of WooCommerce.

I am also seeing “Uncaught TypeError: Object function (e,t){return new v.fn.init(e,t,n)} has no method ‘cookie'” for the “cart-fragments.min.js” file.

I get a 406 Not Acceptable error when I try to login. Tried a different browser to no success. My homepage carousel also no longer works.

Anyone else run into this issue?

    Thanks!

406 is very rare…Not sure how you got that but try this so you can login atleast. FTP to your site, rename the WC plugin folder to something else. That will trigger WP to deactivate that plugin. Now you should be able to login.

This time don’t use the auto update. Instead download a fresh copy of the plugin and FTP it up to the same folder. Don’t forget to rename it back.

splashingpixels.com – That didn’t fix the login issue, but did fix the carousel issue.

WPyogi – I was able to login before though. Would I not be getting access because I’m trying to login again and my webhost is blocking it? I am able to see wp-login.php, I just can’t login.

If that didn’t fix the login issue then that means it is not WC related. You may have other plugins that is acting up.

Some time has passed and I can now login. I am thinking it may have been my webhost? In any case I can login now.

However, the carousel still breaks when I reactivate WooCommerce. I’ll post it on the GitHub repo.

    Thanks!
