Logs show pagination number that dont exist

I’m not sure if it’s Redirection that is doing this or something else, but I keep seeing logs showing a reference to a page that doesnt exist.

Example:
I got one Category that has 20 custom posts, my pagination is 10 custom posts per page.

The log would show me something as such: ​/custom-post-category/categoryA​/page​/3​/?lang=en

But there is no page 3 for this category, it doesnt actually exist as the posts for that category stop at page 2.

This type of log manifests every once in a while for different custom post categories and tags.

Any idea why?
