Bounced emails.

    Simple question – how do I handle bounced emails? Am I expected to manually check hundreds of emails and remove those that bounce? Or is there some feature I do not have enabled?

    If its not a feature, are you planning on making it one… anytime soon – as I am going to lose my hosting account unless I either disable the plugin, or handle my bounced emails.

    @viraladmin,

    The plugin does not handle bounces and in order to do so would need an entire class to connect to POP or IMAP servers and then the ability to parse the emails, identify bounces and act accordingly.

    I’m not planning on adding this feature as I don’t personally need it. I configure my sending email to one I use regularly and I handle bounces as they arise in ones and twos rather than saving them all up and doing hundreds.

    And what would you charge to implement such a feature??

    @viraladmin,

    I wouldn’t. I’m not a software developer in my day job and I cannot spare the time to commit to such things. You may find someone on WP Jobs.
