Hello. Postie seems to be working just fine, it posts emails from authorized senders, and sends me an email (as the site administrator) when someone who is not registered tries to post, so that is all good. I did notice that in my server’s error log, I get this:

Postie: memory at start of e-mail processing:4950992
Postie: memory at end of e-mail processing:4950888

I don’t know what this is indicative of. I set the memory in the php.ini to 512M to see if the default 128M was not sufficient, but I am still receiving this message in the error.log. It appears each time that Postie goes to fetch the email, whether or not an email is in queue to be posted does not matter. Has anyone seen this or know what is the resolution? Thank you.

These are just informative. You can ignore them. I’ll make them optional in the next version.

Thank you! I thought that perhaps I had a setting wrong, I’m glad that it’s nothing.
