removing vertical space between photos in thumbnail gallery

    I am new to wordpress and coding and I am looking for a quick fix to remove the extra white space in my thumbnail photo gallery. After reading, I believe I need to add code to my css file, but not what code. I would also like to tight up the text on the page… any help would be appreciated. Thanks
