You’ll need to first create a Child Theme so that changes to your theme files won’t be overwritten when the theme is updated.

Then you’ll likely need to modify the header.php file – after you have the child theme set up, the best place to ask about specifics will be in the theme specific sub-forum:

Yeah, im good on the child theme. i plan on just copy and paste the whole theme folder and create it when i need to. I dont think the author is going to be updating this theme anymore :S

but as for asking in the support thread for easel theme. i can’t get any support there. its dead as dead as dead can be! :S i tried asking some questions there with no response.

I could really use someones help who is active

I have not used this theme before, but I installed it on a test site and it looks like it’s actually a theme option to move the menu to the top of the page!

One the Appearance > Easel Options screen click on the Menubar tab

Then click on the box for “Disable default Menubar” Save

Then go to the Widgets screen and click on the widget bar (right side) for Above Header – then drag the widget for “Easel Menubar” to that Widget. Save that.

See if that does what you want.
