• I recently switched over to WP from MT and I have a fairly noob kinda question. One of the things that I’ve noticed is that the response time from my ISP’s MySQL db is not great so I’ve done a couple of things to try and speed it up (reducing the amount of posts shown, etc). I like everything else about my ISP so I’m not really looking to change just for a faster db, but my site right now takes 1.5 sec to gen 21 queries. In looking around, I’ve seen many sites that are faster. What really bothers me is when I click on a link and then use the back button, my page has no kind of caching so it regenerates every time I click off and on. Mind you, 1.5 seconds isn’t terrible, but if I’m clicking on several of my links and going back it takes quite a bit of time. Is there anything I can do? Is there a way to cache the generation of the page for x minutes or something? Any help would be appreciated. The web page is at:
