removing images on wordpress web page

    I am trying to remove an image on my article posting site http://sharemyarticle.com/sharemy-articles/

    if i don’t insert any images into the post then the defaulted image will come up automatically which will be the ones shown in the first 8 articles.

    how can i remove these images and just have written content instead?

    What theme are you using? Where did you get that theme from?

    More than likely, this is something built into the theme you’re using (it’s set to display the featured image; and fall back to a default if there is no featured image). Without being familiar with your theme, I can’t tell you whether that is an option you can enable/disable within your theme settings, or if you’re going to have to make some changes to the theme.

    You should probably start by trying to contact the theme’s developers to see if they have any suggestions, as this is more than likely specific to your theme; and not something built into WordPress.
