I’m trying to make a personality type questionaire using wp pro quiz. I love how feature rich this plugin is so I’m sure there might be a few ways but I’d like to know what you guys would advise as the best. Say for a quiz to find out whether you’re an introvert, ambivert or extrovert?

The first option I thought was to Hide correct/incorrect display and assign different point amounts to each answer, 5 points to introvert answer, 3 to ambivert answer and 1 to introvert answer. Then at the end of the test display “if you received more than 60 points you are an introvert.

The second option I thought about was to use Cateogories, I havent yet tried using categories before but it seems like using “true” or “false” type of answers you could categorize people into a group like “introvert”.

So how would advice doing this? Thanks for your help 🙂

  • The assessment exam feature is going to be implemented in the next revision of WP Pro Quiz, in version .24. According to the Xeno010, the next revision should be released in a week.

Hi, very interested to know when version .24 will be released. Having extreme trouble finding a ‘true’ or ‘false’ assessment plugin.

    Hi Soprano,
Did you find the fix or other plugin for Personality question.

Sparky, I’m currently making do with the options provided. I use the assesment type questions, allowing the user to rate the answer from Strongly Disagree (1) to Strongly Agree (5) out of 20 questions, means the top score is 100%. Also playing with the categories options helps.

if it is ok can i see the live quiz

Hey guys, I’m working with a personality test also- The Big 5. The problem is that to interpret the results I need to use a formula to add the score on some question and subtract the score on others and add some extra points- 14, 8 or 38 ( I’ve used the assessment type with score from 1 to 5 and Cateogories for each personality type). The formula is different for each personality type. Do you have any ideea how to use the points from each question in a formula ?
    Tks!

WP pro quiz DOES NOT HAVE a feature that allows you to add scores from some questions and subtract scores from other questions.

To resolve this, one could assign a standard score to each question say 3 points and assign it to the answer marked as correct and 0 for incorrect, hide correct vs incorrect markings in personality tests there should be no correct vs incorrect. Then one could selectively augment the score which amounts to subtracting from the running score, using a dummy or follow up question such as ‘Click yes if answered previous question as … ‘ or confirm your selection …. the subtraction would then be the absence of the extra points given by the dummy question. At end of quiz, the raw score should be displayed. The user would then input the raw score which would then be handled by a series of wp pro quizzes, one for each score range. So if I score 75 I’d be told by the contents of the main quiz results box to select the 75-99 range quiz below. That quiz would simply confirm one’s raw score then its result box contents would tell me my personality type, link to more info, etc…
