When I look at my homepage I get a message that says, “this is somewhat embarrassing isn’t it”. How do I get rid of that? Also, I want to write whatever I want on that page and cannot figure out how to do that. When I try to edit my homepage I get a message that says that the page does not exist because it was placed in the trash. I am told to restore it. HOW DO I DO THAT??

I have spent roughly 5 hours trying to build my site and I’m getting really frustrated. I keep hearing how WordPress is so easy and user friendly, but it doesn’t appear that way.

Can I have a link to see your code? It will help solve this.

    Hmmm,

One reason you may be getting that error is because you have not set a home page.

Or of course, it is because the home page has been put in the trash.

To restore it, you need to log in, goto Pages and then list all the pages. You will see a link called Trash and in there you can restore pages.

    Hope that helps

I actived a plugin that is simple calculator…
when i click submit button…a error massage come i.e “This is somewhat embarrassing, isn’t it?

It seems we can’t find what you’re looking for. Perhaps searching can help.”
but the plugin work poperly…. actual result come with error massage…. plz help me…..
    plugin code:
[Removed code. No need to post all these code here.]

Delete that plugin and see if the error goes away. If that does not help or if you want to seek the support of the plugin’s author post the problem here: http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/simple-calculator

    thanks u sir……….
