Custom Theme without blog

    Hi, I have someone who had a custom theme created. It was created with a blog feature. How to I go about adding a blog back into the theme? I know I can create a new folder with a new wordpress install, but I would rather just have it back on the main site. Thanks.

    what is the url of your site?
    Was the theme you now use newly created, or based on an existing theme that was adapted?
    What is the name of the theme?

    I’ve had a look at your site. It seems the blog functionality is already there. It just can’t find a blog-entry at the moment.
    Since we cannot see ‘behind the scenes’ of your site, this is a bit of a blindfolded chase…

    Go step by step and test what works…

    1. Create a POST [not the same as a page] and save it.
      Check if it shows up in the blog-page. Since this is a test: don’t worry about the content. Random text will do for now.
    2. If this doesNOT work:
      Edit the test post and check if in the right sidebar you can give it a template ‘blog’
    3. If this doesNOT work:
      Edit the test post and check if in the right sidebar you can give it a category of ‘blog’ / ‘archive’ ; Save and Check the result.
