Yoast not adding meta data to header…?

    Hi All,
    Apologies for being so new to all this, but I have Yoast installed and running and I have added the options to use Open Graph and Facebook/Twitter card but it seems that Yoast has not modified the heard at all. Is should modify header.php in my theme to include the meta informaiton correct?

    When I test the system, with facebook or twitter, it is clear that the tags are not working. Any help would be great and apologies for noob status again.

    Also, I should mention that the title field in my header is: <title><?php wp_title(‘ ‘);

    I have set the permissions for this file to 777. I can’t understand why Yaost isn’t updating it and am out of ideas. Anyone?

    Ok, another update, although I still can’t see any twitter meta info in my header, I can see the meta data using this website: http://www.seocentro.com/tools/search-engines/metatag-analyzer.html

    BUT it does not work for the homepage. There is no twitter meta data for the homepage. Could this be a theme conflict? I am using solostream which is meant to be compatible. Thanks.
