    Hi
    Is there a way to change the layout of the category pages from showing all the posts in the category to simply showing a link to the specific posts? For example, if I have a category about movies… instead of going to that category and seeing reaalllly long posts about every movie ive ever written about… a link to each seperate post would show up like:
    Movie 1
    Movie 2
    Movie 3
    Any help would be appreciated! I’m new to WordPress 😉

    What was the solution, so anyone else having that problem can find it on his/her own. The forum is only as helpful as the information it contains, you know!

    I tried following the instructions to the letter and it was unsuccessful. Has anyone else tried it and had any problems?
    Nothing showed when I tried.

    I am leery of trying it now that you tried without success, shadow. I can’t get access to my website’s cpanel from work or I’d try it right now just to see if it works. I’ll probably experiment with it this weekend.

    Sorry for not posting sooner! I wrote up a how-to for how I accomplished this on my site. You can read it here:

    There are examples there of what is in my index.php and what is in the example archives.php
    On my site I actually changed it from archives.php to entries.php as that name made more sense. 😛
    If it doesnt work for you let me know what errors you get and maybe I can help solve the problem.. my install doesn’t have any other hacks and only has the weather plugin so I don’t know if you have hacks already implemented how that might effect things. I’m only so-so at debugging so maybe someone else might be able to help also. XD
