When I create a HTML Table with a blank row – it looks fine in WordPress View, however when the page has been saved the blank rows are no longer present on the saved Intranet page and the textis all bunched together. I am using Suffision Theme.

    BEFORE saving page:

    Table Heading
    ‘blank row’
    Line of Text
    ‘blank row’

    AFTER saving page:

    Table Heading
    Line of Text
    Line of Text

Any ideas if it is the browser version etc…

While you generally want to avoid empty elements for layout, you can probably fix this with a simple workaround.

I imagine WordPress’ wpautop function is removing the empty rows. If you are editing in the Text tab, if you add a   to each blank element, that may stop it from being removed on save.
