Inserting tags on HTML commening

    Hi!

    I’ve got TinyMCE installed on a test site and I am getting added paragraph tags wrapped around my HTML commenting in Pages and Posts, like this:

    <p><!--to here --></p>

    It’s not ruining the formatting on the rendered site, but it is truly unnecessary and adds a ton of extra code for absolutely no reason.

    I installed The Preserved HTML Editor Markup plugin in the hopes of getting it to stop, but it is ineffective.

    Has this happened to anyone else? If so, is there a way to stop it?
