How to delete my website page correctly?

Hello! I am making changes to my site and will delete some pages. The content of these deleted pages will be combined into one new page. The site is already indexed by Google. What should I do with the pages the deleted pages? 301-redirect deleted page URLs to the new page? Is there anything else that needs to be done?
