Permissions Issue

    Let me also add that it never saves the permissions when I edit them and I have refreshed the roles a dozen times.

    Hey I had this problem to… it had something to do with the guest account for me. I turned off the guest account and deleted it from the roles in WP, and it started working again. Can also try a fresh install with guest account disabled.

    I’m having the exact same problem, but I deleted the guest role and it’s still happening. Any resolution?

    you have to refresh roles before change permissions..
    And my problem was, once I disable guest to read, even when I enable after won’t work anymore..
    I had to reinstall all wordpress again. I dont know much, but I looked the wordpress databases, and apparently plugin add an option on wp_options table.. so probably is this what is messing with guest permissions.
