mobile theme, "read the rest of the story" disappearing at times

    Dear all,

    I am running WordPress 3.5.1 and JetPack 2.2.1 with the Tarski theme. For the JetPack mobile theme I have activated “Enable excerpts on front page and on archive pages”. Under these circumstances I see the following strange behaviour concerning entries written in Japanese, in contrast to entries written in Roman letters

    • in the normal web view all is fine, I see on the front page the excerpts till the <!--more--> tag, followed by “Read the rest of this entry »”
    • on the mobile device (iPhone in my case) I get the excerpt off all the articles, and only those written in Japanese do not have the continuation “Continue reading”

    To help narrow down the problem, try deactivating any other plugins – if that does not change it, switch to the default WP theme. If you still have the problem, you’ll need to ask on the JetPack sub-forum here:

    Hi

    Thanks, I tried all the things you mentioned and the bug remain. Ok, I don’t know what is the default theme, but I changed to some other themes made by WordPresse (TwentyTwo or so) and the problem remains.

    I will post in the jetpack support forum
