Change of twitter name

We have changed our twitter name to @NordicNW from @NordicWalkNW
However when I’ve made the alterations to the link on wordpress it keeps taking me to: https://twitter.com/NordicWalkNW saying the page does not exist.
How can i save the alterations so they actually work?
