Does the error message persist if you reload the page or visit other admin/site pages? If so, please try deactivating and reactivating the tags plugin.

Yes, it persists on all admin and public pages. I tried deactivating and reactivating, and still get the error.

I just tried it on a brand new site. Code Snippets is the only other plugin active on it right now.

If you visit /wp-admin/options.php, is there an option labeled code_snippets_tags_version?

Yes. It’s version 1. And in case it matters, I’m using Code Snippets version 1.7. And the theme is Twenty Twelve.

So… does the version number in /wp-admin/options.php exactly read 1 or 1.0? I know it sounds picky, but trust me 🙂 Thanks for reporting the error BTW.

    Exactly 1

This will be fixed in Code Snippets Tags 1.1, which uses a new method of adding the database column

    Great! I’ll look for it.
