Fatal error: Cannot redeclare register_sidebar() (previously declared in /home/rnbjunk/public_html/blog/wp-includes/widgets.php:36) in /home/rnbjunk/public_html/blog/wp-content/plugins/sbm/sbm.php on line 1376

You don’t need the sidebar widgets plugin anymore. By default WordPress 2.2 and above have Widgets built in–the old plugin won’t work correctly due to this. It’s also true that some older widgets won’t work correctly in the new built in version of widgets either….

Sidebar Modules has not worked since widgets went into the core. Until the authors update it, it’s not going to work.

rnbjunkcom, I get the same error with WP 2.2.2. I’ll miss the option of having some widgets show up on specific pages, but oh well. Until SBM updates, it’s back to regular widgets for me. 😐

We have modified the sbm plugin to work with wp 2.3+

any feedback is welcome! all the best,
