Almost working site! wp_categories issues…

Hello World,

This is the first time I’ve used wordpress and I’ve got to say, I love it.
My site is almost functional and there seems to still be one problem that is degrading the whole site. Code snippets are showing through with some errors and I’m not quite sure what I need to do to fix them, but it is probably something simple…

WordPress database error: [Table 'ryanmcl_wordpress.wp_categories' doesn't exist]
SELECT cat_ID FROM wp_categories WHERE cat_name='Asides'

and…
