Need a plugin

New at WordPress I have used Dreamweaver before. I want to build a web site not a blog. So I need to put pictures on the pages with links and add to cart buttons. I would think there are plugins for all of that could someone doing the something help me out with a good start of plugins to use.

Sound like you are looking for a e-commerce/shopping cart plugin. Here are some popular free ones:

Since you are new to WordPress, I would strongly encourage you to take the time to get familiar with it. There is some much more you can do so much faster than you could ever before building sites with Dreamweaver. There are some good books about WordPress, see http://wordpress.org/about/books/.

Thanks for the links I will go to all of them. I was using Amazon seller central before and would like to continue. will those shopping cart allow me to do that?

I appreciate the links but from what I have read none of the cart alow amazon as a payment category. What payment choices do most people use on their sites?
