wppa-functions.php and other reloaded with updates

Hi,
At each update of WPPA+, a number of files are reloaded (wpp-functions.php WPPA-style.css …)
WPPA-functions.php contains the display of the tablet new.png
(for each new album or photo) but If you do not want this display,
I have to edit the file by hand to remove the relevant lines
Same for “Tagged” is not translated into French
Is it possible to display or not new.png in the options tab with a checkbox ?
and for WPPA-style.css please consider it is reloaded for each update?
