How do I edit the post message..?

    How do I edit the message at the end of every post that says:
    “this entry was posted in X on mm/dd/yyyy” where X is the category? I don’t have any categories on my blog so want it to say:
    “this entry was posted on mm/dd/yyyy”.

    I’m using theme twentytwelve and yes, I am using a child theme.

    Copy the template used from twentytweleve to child theme and edit to remove the section(s) no longer wanted, or simply hide the elements with your child theme’s stylesheet by using:

    display:none;
